An Honest Conversation on Vaccines and Pregnancy

Dr. Kimberly Biss, FLCCC Senior Fellow, Obstetrics and Gynecology, joins The National Desk for an honest conversation about vaccines and pregnancy.

Despite strong endorsements from the CDC, NIH, and various pregnancy-focused health associations, as of July 2024, only 13% of pregnant women are choosing to get vaccinated. The low uptake among pregnant women raises questions: If vaccines are safe as claimed, why are so many hesitant?

Dr. Biss draws from her frontline clinical experience and research to explain the low percentage of expectant mothers who choose to get vaccinated.
